On November 28, 2024, His Eminence Archbishop Theofan of Korea, in St. Nicholas Cathedral in Bangkok, Thailand, took part in a meeting of the Synod of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia chaired by the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergius of Singapore and Southeast Asia.
