I am deeply saddened by the news of the passenger plane crash at the Korean airport in Muan. The plane crash took the lives of many people.

My sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. I grieve with all those affected by this tragedy, and I pray to the Merciful Lord to grant them courage and fortitude to endure the bitterness of loss.
