On April 5, 2025, on the day of the Laudation of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Eminence Archbishop Theofan of Korea served the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers in Gyeongju. Hieromonk Feofan (Pozhidaev) co-served with His Eminence.

The day before, Matins with the reading of the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos in Korean was served in the Parish of the Resurrection of Christ in Seoul. The new translation was made by the clergy of the Korean Diocese.

After the Liturgy, the archpastor gave a sermon in which he spoke about the breadth of veneration of the Most Holy Theotokos in Orthodoxy and the intercession of the Mother of God over all Orthodox believers, citing the example of events associated with the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.
