On July 10, 2025, on the day of remembrance of the Venerable Sampson the Hospitable and Ambrose of Optina, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated on the picturesque island of Baeknyeong, the westernmost inhabited island of South Korea, by His Eminence Archbishop Theofan of Korea.

Representatives of the Orthodox community who arrived on the island together with the archpastor prayed at the Liturgy.

This day became another reminder that the grace of God extends even to the most remote corners of the earth.
