On September 3, 2025, on the day of remembrance of the Apostle of the 70 Thaddeus and the Martyr Vassa and her children, in the Spassky Cathedral of the St. Yuriev Monastery in Veliky Novgorod, with the blessing of His Eminence Lev, Metropolitan of Novgorod and Staraya Russa, His Eminence Theofan, Archbishop of Korea, Administrator of the Kyzyl Diocese, led the Divine Liturgy.

His Eminence co-served with the brethren of the monastery in holy orders and clergy of the Kyzyl and Korean Dioceses.

Pilgrims and parishioners, including those from the Korean Diocese, prayed at the service.

After the Liturgy, a meeting between Archbishop Theofan and Metropolitan Lev of Novgorod and Staraya Russa took place within the monastery walls. Metropolitan Lev presented the Kyzyl Diocese with a particle of the relics of Saint Nikita, Bishop of Novgorod, a miracle worker.
