On October 8, 2025, the feast day of St. Sergius of Radonezh, Archbishop Theofan of Korea served the Divine Liturgy at the Resurrection Church in Seoul, co-served by Hierodeacon Nektarios (Lim).

Following the service, His Eminence addressed the faithful with a sermon in which he spoke of the heroic deeds of St. Sergius, his meekness, his prayerful labors, and the significance of his ministry.
