
On November 21, 2025, the feast of the Synaxis of the Archangel Michael and the Other Bodiless Powers of Heaven, a conciliar service of the hierarchs of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Southeast Asia was held at the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Tagaytay City, Republic of the Philippines. The Divine Liturgy was served by Metropolitan Sergius of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia.
His Eminence was co-served by Metropolitan Paul of Manila and Hanoi, Administrator of the Diocese of the Philippines and Vietnam, Archbishop Theofan of Korea, Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta, Vicar of the Diocese of Singapore, Secretaries of the Exarchate and Dioceses, Priest David Grubbs, Rector of the Church and clergy of the Manila Deanery.
During the Liturgy, Metropolitan Paul ordained Deacon Dimitri Kahilig, a cleric of the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Arakan, to the priesthood.
Following the service, Metropolitan Paul addressed the Patriarchal Exarch and all participants with a welcoming address. In response, Metropolitan Sergius expressed gratitude to the bishops for their joint participation in the common work of providing spiritual guidance to Orthodox believers in the region.
