On December 13, 2025, His Eminence Theofan, Archbishop of Korea, co-served by Hierodeacon Nektarios (Lim), performed the Sacrament of Baptism over two citizens of the Republic of Korea.

In Holy Baptism, after undergoing a lengthy catechetical period and conscious preparation for the Orthodox faith, the newly enlightened were initiated into the fullness of Church life and became members of the Body of the Church of Christ. At Baptism, they were given the Christian names Nicholas and Nicodemus.
