On January 6, 2026, on the Eve of the Nativity of Christ, His Eminence Theofan, Archbishop of Korea, served Vespers in conjunction with the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great at the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Seoul.

His Eminence co-served with Hieromonk Pavel (Choi) and Hierodeacon Nektarios (Lim).

The previous evening, Hieromonk Pavel (Choi), co-served by Hierodeacon Nektarios (Lim), served the Royal Hours.

Following the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, the clergy sang the troparion and kontakion of the Nativity of Christ before the icon of the feast for the first time this liturgical year.

At the conclusion of the service, the archpastor addressed the congregation with a sermon.
