
From February 23 to March 1, 2026, during the first week of Great Lent, the statutory Lenten services were served in the churches of the Korean Diocese.
From Monday to Thursday, Great Compline with the reading of the Canon of St. Andrew of Crete was served at the Resurrection Church in Seoul. Hieromonk Theofan (Pozhidaev) and Hieromonk Paul (Choi) served the services.
On Wednesday, February 25, Hieromonk Theofan (Pozhidaev) and Hieromonk Paul (Choi) served Vespers with the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts at the Resurrection Church in Seoul.
On Friday, February 27, Hieromonk Paul (Choi) served Vespers and the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts at the Church of the Resurrection in Seoul. Following the Liturgy, a service of thanksgiving to the Great Martyr Theodore the Tyrone was held, with the rite of blessing the koliva.
On Saturday, February 28, the feast day of the Great Martyr Theodore the Tyrone and the feast of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God, Hieromonk Paul (Choi) served the Divine Liturgy at the Church of All Saints in Incheon. Hieromonk Theofan (Pozhidaev) served the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Royal Passion-Bearers in Gyeongju.
On March 1, 2026, the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy, the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great was served at the Church of the Resurrection in Seoul by Hieromonk Paul (Choi), and at the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos by Hieromonk Theofan (Pozhidaev). Following the Liturgy, a prayer service for the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy was held in both churches.
