On April 9, 2026, Matins with the reading of the twelve Passion Gospels — the Gospel passages about the betrayal by Judas, the trial, the suffering on the cross, and the burial of the Lord Jesus Christ — was served in churches of the Korean Diocese.

At the Resurrection Church in Seoul, the service was led by His Eminence Theofan, Archbishop of Korea. His Eminence was assisted by Hierodeacon Nektarios (Lim). On April 10, Great Friday, His Eminence Theofan served the Royal Hours service, and Gospel passages describing the Lord’s suffering on the cross were again read in the church. Vespers was then served with the Rite of the Procession of the Shroud, during which, while the troparion “Faithful Joseph took down Thy Most Pure Body from the Tree…” was sung, the Shroud containing the image of the buried Christ was brought from the altar to the center of the church.

At the Church of All Saints in Incheon, Matins was served by Hieromonk Theofan (Pozhidaev). On Good Friday, Father Theophan served Vespers with the Rite of the Procession of the Shroud.

At the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Busan, Matins was served by Hieromonk Paul (Choi).
