On May 16, 2026, Saturday of the 5th Week after Easter, the feast day of the Martyrs Timothy and Mavra, His Eminence Theofan, Archbishop of Korea, served the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Royal Passion-Bearers in Gyeongju.

At the conclusion of the service, the archpastor preached a sermon.

Later that day, His Eminence Theofan visited the coastal city of Ulsan, where he baptized an infant in the waters of the East Sea, as well as a native of the Republic of Korea who had undergone a lengthy catechetical period and consciously prepared himself for the Orthodox faith. During the sacrament of baptism, the newly baptized were given the Christian names Nina and Elijah.
