The Korean Diocese’s book publishing house has published a Korean translation of the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos. This publication aims to open up the possibility for Korean-speaking believers to pray to the Mother of God in their native language, using the traditional akathist form of the Orthodox Church.

The translation is the result of the joint efforts of His Eminence Theofan, Archbishop of Korea, Hieromonk Paul (Choi), and Hierodeacon Nektarios (Lim), who worked to render the liturgical text in Korean while preserving its theological precision and prayerful spirit.
